I know this is a long shot....

When momcat moved in with me, three years ago now on july 9th,



it was against her will and she hated me. She hissed at me every day. I had to set out a trap to catch her every time she went to the vet. She raised her kittens (wiggles) under the sofa like a good mother and they all found homes.





I kept momcat because I knew nobody else would. She's feral.

Hate left her heart though sometime over the next three years and she and I were making progress. I could sometimes touch her paw and she would only pull back in annoyance. I figured there might be a chance.



We spent a lot of time together. She slept on the bed every night, she made friends with Tattyana which was nice, they'd touch noses and always sit next to one another



things were going okay and i was resigned to it taking years for her to come around.

well, lately, one of the other cats has taken a serious dislike to her and has started beating up on her -- deciding that she doesn't have litter box privilidges, and generally making her life more miserable than it already was. Over time momcat's single emotion has changed from rage, to indifference, to maybe hopeful and now, to fear. She hides all the time, she hasn't been up on the bed in months. When you step into the room that she's in, she rockets out of it and doesn't seem to have a place where she feels safe.

The truth of the matter is that momcat could use a new home. I doubt there's one out there, but I have to ask.
